Happy Birthday, Sam!
Today my lovely is...44! And honestly, he doesn't look a day over...44. He has to work today, but we're going to see some live bluegrass tonight at the Marlin. All are welcome to come and buy Sam a drink. I made him a photo montage entitled 'One crazy summer' with many photos of our cabin-building project this summer. I found a handsome frame with a a nice matte and I think it looks pretty spiffy. No one ever said I wasn't crafty. Then I made him some blueberry birthday muffins and gave him his spankings.
Last year I was in Finland for Sam's b-day and had some tourists step out of the sauna and sing Happy Birthday to him over the phone. Funny stuff.
I wanted to go over Sam's greatest accomlishments on this, the anniversary of his birth.
He married me. There we go.
Peace.

Accomplishments! More than one!
Well, well...MUM! I offered to bake a cake, FYI! Maybe on the weekend. Or I'll just put a candle in his steak when we go out for dinner tonight. Perhaps he has had more than one accomplishment but I'd have to say I was his greatest. C'mon of course I'm kidding. He's made a hell of a career for himself, traveled the world, has more friends than I ever thought one man could have...shall I go on? BTW, I'd like to out my father as being the creeparoo named Chilly Beach. Nice try, papa Cliff.
oh yeah, hi Gran. A stoggie is a cigar, not a hot dog. Close though. I miss you and wish I could be there for Christmas. I'm glad you're so computer savvy now. Stay warm.
In America they spell it stogie.
In America, they're wrong. About pretty much everything. So there. Put that in your stoggie and smoke it.
Ok, ok, stogie with one g...named after a town. Got it. I can't believe I'm about to say this but, I was wrong. Ew. I have to wash that taste out of my mouth. And for the nice person who corrected me, congratulations. Don't do it again or I'll find you and give a stogie in all the wrong places. I'm not even close to kidding.
I'm still tryin' to figure out how an old man gets such a lovely young girl? Happy B-day Sam. ~ keep up the great writing Jillian, it is enjoyed by many!
Sam would like to know who the old man is you speak of...
