If I were a flower growing wild and free

It's snowing. Again. Still. What the holy deuce is going on 'round here?
Here are bunch of random photos from the past few weeks. I'm pretty much packed to leave for the summer. If you can believe that one. Now it's time to relax and enjoy my final days of Fairbanks. In spring? Winter? Spinter? I hope the weather clears for the big drive. I've made arrangements to stay with musher friends Hugh and Tamra on Monday night to break up the long haul. My stomach is in knots.
Peace.

My Gran. I only hope that when I'm her age, I'm equally as witty, pretty and smarty as she is. I also hope that I can wear pink as well as she does and that I have a hot red, electric wheelchair like she does. Woot Woot!

Sneaky Pete running wild and free.

Summer!

My littles. Roy and Hazel cuddling on the couch.

My potatoes. Ruffles, Bully and Roy.

Snowy days are gone. Or are they?

Well, you can hope, but you'd better lose more than 30# and try, as hard as it might be, being a better humanist.

Huh. Unfounded criticism. OK. It's in, I'm not hearing it, it's gone.

Love the photos Jill - especially you Sam and Gran - it's a great one!

You'll do just fine on the drive to Skagway. It's OK to have butterflies... because it's something new.

Which dogs are you taking with you... are you taking the potatoes and the littles?

We're with you all the way Jilly!
Love

Hokay Jill. I have been a faithful reader for a couple of years and probably could have had your e-mail contact if I had stayed on my toes. Not that I need it, but I wanted to ask you to peek as my youngest son's new blog and comment back, if it suits you. He is an aspiring writer and his first publisher produced book will hit the market in September. He sent me an e-mail asking that I notify my joke distribution list of the blog site and ask for comments. The site is http://www.cruiseconfidential.net
Your opinion would be more germaine than that of my fellow engineers and QA folk but I recognize I may be overstepping myself. If so, I apologize. And do have a great summer! I hope you will be able to blog from there. Marty b marty_bruns@msn.com

Oops, akbushbaby, the book to be published title is set to be "Cruise Confidentional, A Hit Below The Waterline."

If it makes you feel any better about your "late" snowfall, we just had a hailstorm come through. I guess the pool weather is over for a couple of months... :(

What beautiful dogs. We have two, one husky (white with blue eyes) and a Corghie.

I miss snow, being in South Florida where it never snows, and so I think your pics are beautiful. However, snow in April is a bit much. I hope it warms up soon for you.
